About Myself
I have been working with non-profit and service-providing organizations ever since my first volunteer gig as a hospital candy striper in my early teens. Today, I'm a Research Officer supporting the University of Toronto's Boundless, the largest fundraising campaign for higher education in Canada.
Prior to my position with the University of Toronto, I was a Volunteer Prospect Researcher for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with small, grassroots organizations and hosting fundraisers. More recently, I volunteered at Miguel Angel Asturias Academy in Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala with Librarians Without Borders.
My first fundraising campaign (and major gift!) was for a school library, raising $23,000 in a 21 day blitz:

I am presently providing, or have provided, consultation services to organizations such as the Native Women's Resource Centre of Toronto, Librarians Without Borders, Japan Foundation Toronto Library, BiblioCommons, TakingITGlobal, and Samuel Hearne Secondary School (pdf link) to improve fundraising operations and community development.
